cd changer not working
HK and nav.
Was working fine, went to press eject to insert new disc and nothing. Light was flashing and nothing ejects, tried ejecting all 6 and nothing. I come back an hour later and no lights on the changer is on however the unit recognize my cd and track but does not play or eject. I did a arachnid and only came up with turning it off and check the fuse. I get power so I don't think its the fuse, any sit how to remove and check the changer manually? Any tips?
Thanks in advance
Tony
Konigstiger has at least two posts in the thread referenced above. Read them. He suggests pulling a couple of fuses (see his 2nd post, especially)
It may not work, but it's simple to try.

Caused by a shoddy business plan redolent of Rover, planned obsolescence and MBusa low rent dazzle electronics that don't belong in a motoring environment. Hopefully the new corporate and NA management will correct their predecessors sins.
Don't bet on it. 540ks still run but how about an 01 v12?

Tried pulling fuse 3 & 6 in the trunk fuse box, it did nothing and acted like it was still broken. I then went inside the car and pull the CD changer out, unplug the white plug which controls the sounds, if this is unplug there will be no sound. I simply unpluged it and pluged it back in, this started the changer back up and everything works like it should.
Everything works great again, funny thing is that I also noticed my "logic 7" sound option made all the speakers sound like it was blown, after "fixing" it the sound went back to normal. Very werid, this just happen out of no where and was a simple fix.
Good luck to anyone else with this problem.
