holy ****, we agree! PS2s, while not cheap, are such excellent tires. I'd stick with michelin also. Contis have a tendency to wear very fast and I've always found pirellis to be a bit too stiff and noisy. I've thought about going with a Hankook Ventus V4 or V12 set on my 500 4matic, I had them on my old S60R when the PS2s saw the light and they were great, very comfy, quiet, and sticky.

The conti dws are very good all arounders w/ a great thread life and wrrty just dont expect them to handle like a pure performance tire. Also you may want to see tireracks test.
