Hello folks,
My car "Check Break Alarm" is on despite changing all my break pads and sensors. Diagnostic check at the local MB agent workshop indicated a SBC system problem. Awaiting some equipment from MB for the agent to reprogramme the system (cost about RM600.00). I am told that a pump problem will set me down by RM10,000.00. My car is now 6 years old. I am told that Mercedes gives a 10 year warranty in US on these parts due to their known unreliability. Does anybody had similar experience? Did Mercedes replace the parts for free as part of the warranty? Please help so that i can show this to Mercedes in Malaysia. Best Regards

Not sure about the international warranty but being a safety item i would imagine it applies. 10yr / unltd miles SBC pump/module replacement fo free.

This is what MB sent me. NOTE THIS IS IN US. printed in US and may only apply to US. The warranty applies ONLY to the pump in the SBC system.
