nice car, congrats, and welcome to the forum! I'd love to see some pics of the interior and to know what that $59550 car cost now, 5 years later! I always buy mine 3 years old and tend to pay <50% sticker price......

Very nice! I would love to hear some of your impressions as the weeks go on as I am in the third week of ownership for my 07 E550. Beautiful cars =D, let me know what you think about its various features/qualities/craftsmanship and such. How many miles on that majestic machine?

Thanks guys I love the car. The best features I love about the car the cornering headlamps & ambiant lighting through out the inside :D

It's So pose to be a beautiful weekend and I am going to get some pictures up of the whole car and Ill get some at night time to reveal the ambiant lighting of the inside!

AMGAffalterbach 04-06-2012 10:39 AM

Wow you certainly found one that is fully optioned out even more so than most e550s. Can't wait to see the pictures!

Nice buy! Any problems with it? I love mine, aside from the fact that there's a hard knock in the transmission when it's downshifting to a stop. Needle on the RPM gauge gets stuck around 1.5 and just drops and I can feel the kick.

Wasn't aware of any front lip's being available for 07-09 AMG sport bumpers...mind linking me to the front lip that you purchased?

Happy modding. You should hit up mbjunkies.com for a mod friendly forum !

Thank you sir...no the car runs extreamly well no knockin from the transmission or engine. I was doing 71 mph today on hwy on the way to work and was getting 28.7 mpg on sport mode sitting at 1,300 rpm's which I could not believe :y. I always run Shell or sonoco high test gas in the car nothing else. The transmission is a 7 speed transission!!

As far as the front carbon lip I was told by a few fellow benz owners (local in my area) that any 07-09 e350's will work.

So basiclly I was told wrong....WTF.

Yup! Same here. But that alone wouldn't make me want to purchase a pre-facelift W211. Whether there's a front lip available for our bumper or not, the facelifted W211s look so much nicer/newer. Still happy with the purchase. Just get the flat badge, clear/painted side markers, 6K LED & HID, nice 20" wheels, and some low and call it a day IMO. I can point you to my guy that gets me all my HIDs if you need an outlet for that.

Thanks bud. I have springs on the way should be here any day now, I was going to powder coat the wheels dark gun metal and powder clear them. I have a carolson CF spoiler and AMG flat badge on the way too. I am looking at a CF rear diffuser then doing a total of 4 amg exhaust tips so looks like the e55. I get my HID's through hidxtra.com and never have any problems. I have a set of 8000k HL & FL on the way :y.

P.S. I took some great pic's over the weekend of the car and will have them yup later this evening!

Congrats, that's a beauty!! I haven't seen that lower bumper cover on an '07 before, only '09. Was that an option on the '07 or is yours custom? I am considering having that bumper put on my '07 E550, I think it looks so much better than the stock '07-08.

All 07-09s came with it if you got the AMG Sport Package..not sure what you're talking about. Hardly custom...

pcasciola 04-11-2012 12:29 AM

Are you sure? I looked at hundreds of 07s and 08s and have never seen this lower bumper on one before but every 09 has this style bumper, so unless all 2009s are AMG Sports, I'm not sure what you are talking about.

Majority of the 07-08 E class tend to equip with the 333 Sport package as standard, but the 321 AMG sport packages are one of the optional features for 07-09 E Class. You do find them out there occasionally. The 09s are all equipped with the 321 AMG sport package as standard.

Yes seeing the AMG sport front bumper is rare and hard to find. The first owner of the car did a build in 2007, it was a lease and wanted all these options accordantly. They didnt make very many of these car is this option pkge as on the buid sheet. Thanks for all the comments I'm still photo editing the images and hopfuly have them up this week, I work crazy hours.

Here are a few I took with My cell phone!!

Here are some more. I love the interior of this package, let me know what you guys think.

AMGAffalterbach 04-12-2012 03:07 PM

I have the exact same wooden trim and such on the inside, but the grey leather seats and I have to say the tan seats look REALLY nice on the inside. Thanks for taking these!
