GTech Pro Stats
Guys, I got my meter in today... and managed a couple of test runs just 0-60 so far... drum roll please.
Temp: 78deg
had been raining/POURING most of the evening. Stopped about 1 hour before leaving work. Roads &tires wet/slick.
Got home, checked mail.. got the meter (delivered today). Then took it to a nearby freeway feeder.
First run: ESP ON, quite a bit of slip.. ESP kicked on a bunch. FINAL reading: 6.41 seconds (ECK!!!)
Second run: Better launch.. but still some slip (I've had MUCH BETTER launches... esp when i beat that mustang ;-): 5.86 seconds.
I also managed a half-*** ¼ mile run... I decided to stop during the run.. hit the brake.. then changed my mind.. and got after it again... Got an odd 14.61 with a trap speed of 86.0
I KNOW that wasn't an accurate time. But I'm sure the car will read high 13's with over 100mph with the GTech Pro.
I'll try some more tests this week as time allows (as when the roads clear up).

Yeah, the weather sucked today! I can't believe you even tried. We have had some very heavy rains in my area. 'Course, when it dries off and gets hot again, you'll have the same slippage from the melting ashpalt!

Chris, we'll have to hook up and try this thing on both our cars.

Of course, when it's dry.. and PROBABLY BEFORE the new cars arrive.. because then it's "break in" ALL OVER AGAIN!!! ARGH!!

Wow, sub-6's on an E-class! Great stuff!
I bought the GTech Pro, tried to run it a couple times on my SLK32 AMG, but I never thought of trying to stress out my E-class.
