Car Locked up!!!!

Okay, i've begin to have problems with my E500. Today while trying to reinsert the audio fuse, it fell...and I began to look for it. While digging for it for a while I got tired so I just closed the trunk. I try to start the car...The car is locked! The remote doesnt open the doors or anything. It wont work at all.
And I already want to the dealership for this audio problem, they the 'SOS and Teleaid' malfunction message has been showing for a while also.
This car is only 2 months old. What should I do next? How do I start it?

you have the key, and cant get into the car right? wow, thats wierd. this is what i would do. take out the metal key from the key, insert that in the driver door, and enter like that, if the alarm goes off, just insert the key into the ignition. and open the trunk manually the way way. i would find the fuse, plug it back in, and see if the car operates. thats really all i can think if, if it doesnt work, then they might have to tow the car to the dealership

I guess I should call the dealership. I can get into the car, but the car will not start. The whole car seems to be dead.

Well they are towing it to the dealership. I called roadside assistance, and he said it had nothing to do with the fuse. And that something burned out. My wife is so mad, she is telling me to trade the car in already. And we just got it!

same as here, my wife told me to guy a bimmer next time -- she feels uncomfortable while a automatic car reverse back on a slope.

if your battery dead or under "safe" current, you cannot start your car.

Trust me... I had a bimmer.. and they are no better than MB for reliability. I switched because I was sick of going to the dealer every 2 months. Plus they didnt treat me like a luxury car owner. So I gave my $$ to MB.

because I was sick of going to the dealer every 2 months
unfortunately, this is my mb case, I just got my car back yesterday from local dealer for audio gateway issue which makes my wife could not enjoy hk. but our 6 years old bimmer works like a charm.

so far, I sent my car in 3 times for services (around 4000 miles)

1. dead battery
2. brake squeak
3. audio gateway

I always have to wait for at least one month for service from my local mb dealer. (bmw is only 2 weeks waiting time and providing a loaner car while mb only offering free rides.)
