Arrow Facelift Mirrors
so i've been wanting to update my mirrors, i know people have done this mod just had a couple questions

does it matter what options the mirrors have? power folding, heated, etc. as far as them plugging up with my current mirror harness that obviously doesn't have those options?

i don't expect to to get those options, i just want the actually mirror controls to work and i would be satisfied

I did the ebay housing upgrade.. it was just the housing.. everything else remained the same. I think you have an older model IIRC, so it will be different.

So you just swapped the shell? How hard was that?

I've been reading about everyone just swapping them and they were plug n play, but idk if its different from an e55 to a base? Because all the people I saw were upgrading on an e55

Swapping the shells is easy.. they come right off. I upgraded mine to get the puddle mirrors.. which needed to be wired correctly.. I paid ~$200 for a stereo shop to install. Didn't do it myself. But took them under two hours IIRC.

My 08 has the full blown mirrors though.. I think the older models pre-facelift have different mirrors all together, so pls check on the process.

Sorry for ignorance but what is IIRC?

Yea mine have the puddle lights they just don't have the power folding or heat option so I was wondering if that changes the clips...

So all you did was add the puddle lights? But you already had the facelift mirrors cause you had an 08 right
