Need part # for convex driver's mirror glass
 

I'm picking up my 04 E500 at the factory on October 8th and would like to get the convex glass while I'm in Germany. I did this once before on an MB and had a hard time because the dealer would only search his computer after inputing my VIN. Some people can be very stubborn. I had to get the glass PN elsewhere and then it was easy. By the way, two years ago the heated dimming glass was 200 Euros. For those of you who find the mirrors too small, the stepped convex glass makes a great difference. I believe iit is standard on the German cars just as the right side convex is standard on our cars.

Perhaps someone (Ronald) on the amg owners club might be able to help you out because they are in Germany.
