Need a Stater???
 

So After all this time, the infamous thunk when I turn the key is my starter, at least that's what the dealer told me, they put it on the start computer and no codes whatsoever. Many here have told me to change the CPS, check battery, Alternator or battery module in back etc....

Bought new battery from dealer
Had them change the rear differential fluid
Had them do a brake system flush

They could not get the car to do what it would do to me, than one day bam, mechanic got in to pull it around and said that's your starter , I asked how he knows if their are no codes. He stated you can't here it inside the car, but open the doors and Walla!

he stated when he turned the key, nothing would happen and that little thunk was my stater.

I asked them to change the CPS out also when I bring it back in. they said why, it's probable not bad, I said it's a cheap insurance part and to change it.

Anyone have any ideas to if this is accurate info with the starter? the car starts, but at time you turn the key and nothing.
