picked up an '07 e550
Hey Guys!
I recently acquired an '07 e550.
Little pre history...Was looking for a new vehicle. Had to be European mid size sedan. Choice fell between Audi A6, 5 series and E-class.
Dropped idea of the 5 right away. Not big on BMW's and somehow end up driving too aggressive when I get into one =)
Test drove couple of A6's. Comfortable, all wheel drive, and having experience of owning '98 A8, it made sense to get one. Biggest downfall was lack of power(stated 350hp). It just didn't feel like it was enough for what I would be happy with.
Drove an E55
perfect candidate. But when considered the fact that it would be fairly heavy on gas and the price range that I was looking in I would be picking up an '03-05 seemed a bit old for a daily(will still pick one up one day=)). Test drove E550 and was set on looking for one.
And then came the one. '07 Grey on black, 4matic.
Plenty of power to put a grin on my face. Very comfortable. Decent on gas.
Work done so far:
- dropped it with a set of links
- Vossen CV7's on it
- Eurocharged tune
- Front rotors/pads
- tinted heads/fogs
- blacked out grills
E63 bumper with some goodies should be here tomorrow. More updates coming =)
