What are these 2 buttons for and why are they in there?

What are these 2 buttons for and why are they in there?
Inside the center arm rest on my new to me 2006 E350 are 2 buttons. One looks like a wrench and the other has a little i on it. What are they for and why in the arm rest? Thanks

2 2001 E320s, 2005 E320 4Matic
Wrench button is for roadside assistance, while the "i" button is for information. These buttons function only when you subscribe to tele aid.

3rd button is SOS button hidden behind a tiny door above your head. In reality, these 3 buttone either dial different phone numbers/departments at TeleAid/Mbrace or indicate the priority of the call to them so they answer more important calls first.
