w211 e280 star diagnostic goes to coding. SRS ESP Convenience functions

I have a mercedes e280 cdi which had problem with the rear speed sensors. The speed sensors where changed and the fault was repaired. As I drove from the garage I hit a bug pothole and suddenly the lights started lighting up. SRS esp abs convenience functions.
I have tried to connect the star diagnostics and it won't recognise the car. After manually selecting the vehicle I try to go into control modules it will go straight through coding. Asking for vin number and press f5 for coding. Even when u do try to code by entering the vin it will just hang.
Please can someone help me as I don't know where to start as I have had a look for any damage on the vehicle lift with all covers off from underneath.
