ABS / ESP Thanks!!!
HI All,
I have a 2006 E220CDI which started throwing up the ESP/ABS Defective messages on the Dash, Thanks to you guy's on the forums I found a reasonably priced diagnostic tool that was actually some use (Carsoft i980) which was able to the diagnose the problem, no signal L/H rear speed sensor, and following the advice you guy's had given others, got to the root cause of the problem, corroded ABS reluctor ring, and even found a supplier, (despite my local Merc dealer telling me that they didn't make them and I would required a new driveshaft! I suspect he meant Merc didn't make them separately.....) Now the car is back on the road, fault free, with the whole repair job taken less than 1 day once I'd got the part and tools together, and cost less than £160 including the diagnostic tool. Can't thank you guys enough and wanted you to know you're advice helps more people than just the member you are replying to in your posts.

Got it from UKpartsdirect.com. £24.98 for a magnetic rear ring - with 10 year warranty.
