Clunky noise under driver's seat.
I have this annoying clunky noise coming from underneath the car right under driver's seat or in the middle of the body. When i go over small bumbs it makes noise. The mechanic checked it and then drove it. Put it on lift once again.. And said nothing's wrong. Even i got under the car and shaked every part exhaust and so on. Nothing! What could it be? Right side is ok! The mechanic also wondered about the noise.. We even checked tire pressure because we were clueless.We ran out of ideas..

Im not sure about that. But i always wondered about clicking noise when i put it in Drive or Park. I thought all mercedes make that sound. Could that be a cause of noise? I red somewhere that shift linkage bushing can go bad and that cause clicking noise(won't affect driving) so that's why i never pay attention to it. F
