akron cars inspection help wanted
Slightly off topic. I am in Chicago and I need a car looked at in Akron. I do not need a certified inpection just a walk around, short test drive, general checks. This is for a classic car I am looking at. please send me a note if you can help. I'll pay for expenses. Steve, stevec1031@aol.com

I know a master Mercedes tech in Cleveland that rebuilds classic Mercs. He has an independent shop about 50 minutes from Akron. I can give him a call if you like. He may take a trip for you or at least offer a contact in Akron.

this would be great, The car I need looked at is actually a 77 New Yorker. It's not a perfect car and is priced as such but rather than me drive 11 hours total I'd pay a resonable fee for a general look over.
