SBC system change please need advice
 

guys hope things are great with you, my car had this service brake visit workshop notification, as to stated might be brake pads brake switch, but took it fo the dealer witch stated the sbc system gotta be changed and also took it to more than one indie and said the error comes from the sbc system, i have had a thought and found a newly sbc system that can be bought with $950.00 and would like to know if i bought it and went to the dealer and said to him change it, would they accept to change it?

My guess is that the dealer will say yes if you are married to the owners daughter!!

well thats a bit far, already married :p but the question is can it be changed even not the dealer? at a good workshop?

Yes it can but you MUST have the air purged with some procedure. for a shop it might be as simple as a pressure flush from the master cyl to the wheels. I dont' know how to do it but it is possible.
