Yeah, that bulb would work...but you can do so much better! You might want to consider switching to HID's...it's one of the best upgrades and you can diy. It's amazing how much better the HID's are compared to any halogen. Suggest getting a canbus hid like this one...

Bought regular one just to get rid of the malfunction message. During installation wire insulations completely fell into pieces they were dry. Ended up buying electrical tape to insulate wires. Then when i finished and turned low beam to check the light and i heard some pop and a bit of smoke coming from the light assembly. My first thought was "i messed up" what do I do? I mean there's not much i can do. The light still works.. Everything else still works.. No fire! If there's going to be a shortage fuse should go out, right? Going to use fog and parking lights for now.

Get a new bulb connector and cut the wires back to where there is good insulation.
Put in a new fuse and drive happy.

All depends how much you want to spend.
A new pigtail is plenty high-temp, and you make your connections a few inches back. (For a few $$ a side)
Or you go to the mechanic and pay.
