air suspension problem help 03 w211 E500
To start off the car was saying too low stop driving then the back of the rear suspension dropped down to about a inch from the ground so I parked then I did some research online trying to troubleshoot the problem the best way and I came to the conclusion that the air compressor may be bad so I just change the air compressor today connect it all back up and then I noticed the holes that comes from up towards the engine with the filter had been disconnected from somewhere but I don't know where so that's why I'm writing this today hoping that somebody can let me know where I can connect this back up too?

Is this what you need? https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post6126431
I seem to recall there were a couple of additional posts that don't show up in the thread above. If I remember correctly there is a clip on the back of the front bumper in the area in front of the compressor that the hose fits into. Anyway, if you look in that area you I expect you should be able to figure out where it goes. |
If the rear are low and the front is not the compressor is working. You have a leak in the rear airbag system. It might be the line to the accumulator surge tank but my guess is the bags have a hole in the fold at the bottom of the bag. New bags (air springs) will probably solve the problem.
