Fastest way to input address list into 04' E320 Command Nav memory

I just bought a new 2004 E320 with a DVD command navi system. I have a list of about 50 addresses I would like to store in my system.

Is there a way I can hook-up my laptop to the system to upload the addresses?

Or could I burn an EXCEL spreadsheet onto a CD, and use it in the navi system?

I can't imagine sitting in my car inputting all of the addresses. It would take forever!!

I've never heard of any other way except inputting each one.

Unless you have a Bluetooth COMAND (and you probably not since BT is not yet implemented in US cars), there are no other ways. The filesystem in the COMAND is not compatible with any other systems.

The USA is the backwater of most consumer electronics. It has been this way for a long time. Current consumer tech for cell phones and computers is found in Japan, and for MBs in Europe. My Fujitsu LOOX laptop was converted for US use 3 years ago (Windows installed, keyboard changed to English, etc.). That model is only now appearing on US shores.

i think the best way is to sort them first by "city" and input them one by one, and after inputting it, i believe you press memory, or save, something like that, then the name will become the address, and just click delete to clear the whole name, then type it in, it actually doesnt take that long after you get a hang of it, GL...also, if you dont have your car started, this can drain your batteries, and comand will **** off by itself, but it will give you messages, so try and hurry
