Is it possible to retrofit a flat-bottom steering wheel from a newer MB onto my 2008 E350? Every time I get a loaner (usually a newer C-class) from the dealer, I always like the way those steering wheels look/feel better than mine.

You can always get a flat bottom one for your model so it is a direct swap. It will be cheaper and it will be a lot less work.
