Key fob issue
 

I am having a problem with my remote key fob. It seems that I have to go closer and closer every time even after I replaced the batteries 3 times to make sure it wasn't the batt. I searched here and didn't find anything. I also tries the other key as well and nothing. I have a 07 e350 rear wheel drive without keyless go.

Actually very common problem and covered many times, if both keys are reacting the same way then most likely the IR receiver is malfunctioning requiring door lock cylinder replacement. Part is only available through dealer http://workshop-manuals.com/mercedes...ce_and_repair/
