Considering a 2008 E350 Wagon - Stuff to watch out for?
 

I'm considering a local W211 E350 wagon for purchase. Any items I should be aware of to watch out for?

I know there's no longer the SBC to worry about, and the VIN appears to not have the balance shaft issue.

For those of you who have gone from SBC to non-sbc, did you have to relearn how to brake, or was stopping just as sensitive?

I believe the wagons can have airmatic on the rears and they can be expensive to repair. Does the car have the P2 package?

I believe it does. It has keyless go and nav, along with heated seats and window shades. What would I look for to determine whether it has P2 or not?

Heated seats and the window shade would have been part of P1 which most cars had. P2 is keyless go and the bi-xenon headlamps. It would really be in the vin and you can run a vin decoder to find those feature codes in the datacard. You can sign up for a free account at epc-net, they just require a credit card to make sure you are in the US. Sounds like it has it so that's a nice find, they're not that common.
