It is supposed to be under the passenger side foot well, under the tread. But, I do not see it.

On this model, is it located somewhere else?.

Here is the picture ( the unit i see there is not the TCU / TCM ).




I see the following Codes in Star/DAS.

Thank you for the PM, however as advised the TCM is located in the same location as your friends---passanger side footwell---if not please supply the VIN!!

FYI-- I used the standard--211.056 car for the search!!

Looking at you DAS screen shots you are in the ESP module not the TCU--Do a quick test and post the screen shot of the test???

attached screenshot shows the other related code i see in DAS. ( based on quick test ). Is there anything else i can do to further troubleshoot ETC.

I'm lost as to why ETC MODULE is not in the passengers side foot well.

We called some friends at a local MB dealership----they somewhat amazed they could not find the part or the location within EPC---therefore they calling MB USA

Well the news is that for that VIN the module is on the drivers side of the transmission and MB USA is calling it the Intelligent Servo Module---very strange--will be interested to learn if that is the location!!!

PS--And MB has qualified the part as theft relevant and will not sell to vehicle owners or their agents!!

Appreciate you calling your friends to find the information..
I got under the car but could not find where that ISM module is located at.

Is it probably integrated with the conductor plate that sits inside the transmission oil pan?. This Youtube video suggests that.
I guess, I need to pay a visit to the dealership.
