CF Hoods...
Owning a Miata, there's a million and a half things to buy for the car. Superchargers and turbos - big market (relatively speaking), CF hoods, intake ducts, intakes, etc. But then again, replacing the motor on a Miata is probably a helluva lot cheaper than one on an E320.

Totally agree with you. I saw the cf hood on a white e55 before and it jus hit my mind. I'm just trying to save weight, that is all. At first I wasn't going to post because I thought people would think I was a ricer for ever thinking of a cf hood on a car like the W211. I know I am very fortunate to be drivin a car of this calibur at such a young age. At the same time, I know that most of the W211 owners are very "conservative" and don't want to go modding their cars to the max like others. Thanks for the thoughts though...
just being curious, how much did you pay for you wald kit and where did you get it from? i'm thinking the same exact kit for my car

Actually it's not a ricey mod at all - they really save lots of weight - just make sure ya paint it to match the car. :0)
btw, how do you get sponsered???
I paid at cost for the kit becaus I got sponsored by them. I got the kit directly from the warehouse up in the Bay Area. If I'm not mistaken I think the kit retailed for 2500? Not too sure. Don't quote me on it. Oh BTW you need the W211 sport bumpers for the wald kit to fit. It will not fit on any of the other bumpers. Where are you from? If you go to their site www.waldusa.com you can go to the directory and see which places sell it. Hope this helps...
