Help buying my next car
so guys i own a w210 and is looking for a w211 i live in nyc and i came across two different e55s close enough for me to check out. I was told to try and get a 2005 version because they come with less miles and i was hoping you guys can help me out. i came across this one

it is a matte white e55 with 130,000 miles but looks like it was kept in very mint condition i also like the way this one looks

2004 silver 83,000 miles i would rather a black or white car but it still looks very nice the white one has a lot more options but the miles is way higher and so it the price please help me decide

Rust will be you biggest concern. The engines are really tough and will go forever if properly maintained.
The 130,000:
I hope you're a DIY person, because a lot of wear items start to go at that age and mileage, and it can get costly if you're paying someone to do it.
The 83,000 is a much better value. Lower mileage, lower price, and it's only one year older - that's insignificant. Again, rust is your primary concern, everything else can be managed easy enough.

Anybody had rust issue on W211?
My 2004 spend almost 10 years on NY and Connecticut, yet I don't see rust on it.
I see some rust MARKING on few undercarriage bolts and paint on couple of brackets come off, but rear frame is aluminium, so are front fenders. Perfectly solid,
I did not remove side undercarriage covers so far, but from peeking around, no rust expected.
