Looking for a Ginny Pig with NTG2.5

I'm looking for someone who would be interested in being a tester for a software solution to enable DVD/TV while driving in the San Diego area. It has to be a COMAND NTG2.5 (with the SD media card reader).

If it works, congrats to a free solution for the tester only. If not, no harm.

Once this is confirmed working I'll offer it to anyone.

If interested, shoot me a PM.

Thanks.

why do you have to do that when you can enter the engineering menu on a 211 and enable that function?

NTG2.5 doesn't have that setting in the engineering menu. And this feature cannot be enabled with SD either.

That's why.

I have the SD Media card reader but how do I tell if I have COMAND NTG2.5? I have a 2012 E550 Coupe.

W211 built between 06/2008 and end of production in 2009 would have an NTG2.5

I have NTG2.5, but I'm about to replace it with an Android head unit. I'm in North Cali area.
