Interior color Code: Twin/ ARTICO Grey MB TEX code help needed please.

Hello,

I am trying to determine if the Artico Grey changed in colors between 2006 & 2007.

I have a seat that is messed up and found what appears to be the same, but from a 2007 model year (facelift) versus my 2006 (prefacelift)

I have verified by VIN on the Russian Vin check site that both vehicles have the Artico Grey MX Tex.....

However, they have different code numbers.

My 2006 has the following:

Interior color 138A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO - GRAY

SA Code

130A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO
138A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO - GRAY

Where the 2007 in question I am trying to verify if a match has the following:

Interior color 148A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO - GRAY

140A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO
148A MB TEX-LEATHER, TWIN/ARTICO - GRAY

Does anyone by chance have any expertise in this to know if the color is same, just code number changed between model numbers, or is it different?

I do not want to buy it if not a perfect match and it would be an online purchase so I am unable to compare in front of my eyes only via pictures which can be deceiving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Konig,
my question is can front seats from an 09 e350 fit my 05 e320 cdi. The interior color of the 09 is called 148A twin/artico and my 05 is 138A twin/artico. Thinking the color is most likely the same. It looks like it from pics. Still, will they fit and work in my 05? The donor car is 09 Mercedes e350 (WDBUF56X29B362123). Recipient car is my 05 e320 cdi(WDBUF26J05A683524). Any help is greatly appreciated.

As it concerns interior color 09 = 7F40 Palm Gray, 05 = 7F95 Palm Gray should match. Seat adjuster part #s match however, 09 has heated function. They’ll fit of course but most likely not plug & play. Hopefully someone who did retrofit will comment.

Hey thanks for for looking that up for me. So when you say it will fit but likely not plug and play, do you mean the heated seat function? Or all the power functions? We had an 06 with 425k that had the heated seats but alas, a jackass did pull out in front of my better half and did total that beautiful CDI. The 05 sadly does not have that function to my wife's eternal regret. I on the other hand can live without that opulence 😉. I just wouldn't want to have to retrofit the seats to make the other power functions work ie up down back forward and the like ya know?
