Head rest

My head rest on driver side won't move at all but I can hear the motor run/go under the seat
2003 E320?
What can I do to fix that

Take the rear panel of the back seat and investigate.
Big variety of seats on those cars, but most panels come off after removing 2 torx head screws at the bottom.
