What a GREAT forum....Thanks!!!!
We came back to MB after 5 years...two Audi A8's and an S8 later, your forum convinced us to buy our new E500 Wagon..we love it, best ride we have had in years. One of your members posted that a loaded wagon was available, we contacted our local dealer and he had the car here in two days....car was optioned exactly as we would have ordered it. The only thing missing are the active headlights which are to be retrofitted when available....I am not sure we need them, the non-active seem fine. Please help with this decision. The only problem that has shown up is the "STATIC", two times, which I have seen many posts about and a new problem that I noticed tonight where the DASH readout set on digital speed kept fading in and out.......may have some connection with the need for software update. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR A GREAT FORUM, and we look forward to many years of sharing info....Skip and Karen

There seems to be a new software update that is now available for you. Some on this board have just received it, so far so good...
