The second number 18100 is the pedal count. I just didn't take a photo before I swapped out the pump to see my old pedal count.
The pump is activated 2,700 times a day?
(11 years, 11,000,000 "uses")
Is that revolutions of the pump motor? I'm trying to understand the significance of these numbers...

I read that you need to code the new SBC pump to your car through the control unit adaptations menu. Can you confirm you didn't have to do that?

I have seen references to the SBC having a finite life based on x actuations. How does this value relate to the 59 million from above?

"The SBC has a finite life (300,000 actuations) so sooner or later you will need a new one."

When I have never seen official MB document about SBC push count, from what some technicians post here, there is no firmly set number of pushes.
Variations are between 500,000 and 600,000 pedal pushes, what brings me to conclusion that other factors make the difference aka pump activation, maybe time and who knows what else.
Now think about pump activation.
Each time you open the door after longer stop- the pump activates. Each time there is moisture on brakes - pump activates. Also when you keep brake pedal coming slowly to stop - you fan it to some degree, so pressure is depleted and pump might have to come several times with single brake push.
That is why pump activation are coming to high numbers.

Awesome!!!! I have access to XENTRY and will do it one night after work. I have the message but am dragging this out. I officially know it is the SBC time frame expired but am wondering about how much longer I actually have before it goes out completely?

SBC really looks like it only has 3 common fail modes. Count, pressure reservoir(easy diy) and the motor itself (brushes are only real wear item, maybe change bearing also while motor is open).
Internal hydralics are in fluid bath and do not seem to fail (but are monitored anyway)
The one seal to the outside, motor shaft, never seen leak, they do weep.
We need somebody to document the brushes in motor and we are all set.
Also, i think it is super important to properly flush this system to avoid leaving air in emergency circuit, which kills breaking power in backup mode. Not a problem when pump is running as system has unlimited pump volume available. Star has a test for air in emergency circuit.

Purchased Mercedes Benz reman. SBC online for about $817 ($970 - $153 old core return). Part arrived in a few days in a MB sealed box. Dealer prices for same reman. part ranged from $1070 to over $1300.

Is it possible to use the iCarsoft MB II instead of the Star/Multiplexer for this procedure?

Looking on google its 50/50 you can try if it works it works. Otherwise the Multiplexer is the error proof way. Also I don't see a way to bleed the brakes from that unit.
I know a while back when I was looking up multiplexers I came across a German forum and the person used a DS708, No idea if it worked. Also that looks really similar to my X431 Creader VIII

I have a bad pressure reservoir. You state that it is an "easy diy". Do you have a procedure for that?

Hi. Did you install the same SBC item number or a different one? I noticed that the last three number change (eg 0 265 960 XXX).

The numbers changed I just got a vin match one from the website. Really the numbers mean nothing to us just vin match it with a reputable company or dealer. Then you will be fine.

I bought the MB II but it only turns off the SBC. The brake bleed option is not available for the W211 yet.
