Pick-n-Pull dreams

What small parts, easily removed might be the most valuable?
Just curious.

I even went to "high end" part of "Pick up your part" , now in San Diego , where I spend extra entrance fee to not find any of W210, not even mention W211.
Than would that be a real option, take known wearables and don't stuff your garage with parts you might never use.
Air compressor for airmatic. Bags if relatively new ,brake pads. SBC pump if you can read the counts on it and .... seat covers.
bluetooth puck
wheels
door handles (for keyless go)
front seat adjust controls
SAMs for various functions
battery control module
COMAND headset

Yes, a 2003 W211 E320 is in the San Jose CA pick and pull.
The front of the car is just destroyed.
It rained for several days just as the car arrived, so I didn't bother looking, and likely it is completely stripped by now.
I may go take a look, just for sheets and giggles. Maybe something I can put up on ebay. I do love the 211, but haven't yet owned one. The whole thing with the brake pedal, mmmm. And then, I was at the shop recently and my mechanic had a gas tank, that had to be purchased since they won't sell just the fuel pump on some specific model. Huh?
I think it was it was flex fuel, and ran on e85?
C230 and ML350 keep me hopping...though I seriously lust for an E55 with a pulley.

and what are you gonna do with the front seat controls if you dont have power seats? these things dont work just because of the controls alone, theres a mechanism behind it. you cant just get the controls and expect everything to work to your car.

I was monthly visitor to "The biggest junk yard in the World" when it used to operate in Hayward and driving Volvo and VW at the time I could always find parts for them. Those were also times where parts from Audi and even some Porsche would fit VW.
Later driving W123, I did pull some parts, but once I switched to W124, those cars become so valuable that they went to dismantlers.
Dismantlers ask 50% of retail for parts and with Internet sales booming, I could buy new parts for the same price.
Coming to present, even if you find valuable car on junk your, this is a place of business where "professionals" know in advance when and what car will be dropped off.
When forklift brings such car to the yard, there is a ring of scavengers with good tools waiting for for it.

East coast is different story as lot of cars rust there before they wear out.

What if the car is a coupe with no rear doors to even put an ash tray in? You can't have a rear door ashtray if there isn't even a rear door!

Heck, there's no point at all in even thinking about it anymore...
(what if you DO have keyless go and the door handle switches are bad? What if you DO have power seats and the controls are direct replacements for the ones (03?) that were junk?)
