07 e550 4matic no start
I drove to the Home Depot and when I came out, no start, no crank. ESP warning on. I've spent an hour on the forum with no clear idea of what it could be. Any ideas? I'd like to at least get it out of the parking lot without a tow.

I didn't put a meter on it, but I did do the correct jump attempt with no success.

It seems like a disconnect between the key and the starter. I went back with the second key and while it didn't make a difference, I noticed "ESP malfunction. Consult Owners manual" Hmm

Well unfortunately at this point I'll need to have it towed to the dealership tomorrow. Thanks for the responses. I'll give an update when it's there.

if voltage is good i would assume you have a bad starter. Sounds like a weak/dead battery to me though based off what you said though...

Oh boy I wish it was the starter. Unfortunately it's the ECM. $1800 to repair. However, I will say that the service by both Mercedes Benz USA and the dealer have been nothing less than outstanding. Towing was free and I'm driving a brand new (28 miles) C300 4matic as a loaner. Yes, $1800 is no small chunk of change, but a free loaner and free towing sure help soften the blow considering the car is 10 years old.

i TAKE it they did a voltage drop on the ME correct? pins 4 and 17.....
