Intake Manifold suggestions for W211 E270 CDI
Hi,
The car was slightly low on oil after an oil change and when i took the car to the dealership they concluded that flaps on intake manifold are broken and that is the reason that is slightly low on oil.
When I inspected the car i saw moisture on resonator (Turbo charger pipe) that goes into the intercooler (bottom part).
The car is running perfectly fine and I have no problems with it.
I have two questions from knowledgable members:
1. Dealership suggested that flaps cannot be bought separately and I have to change the whole intake manifold. The engine is OM646. Is it worth changing the intake manifold when the car is running fine?
2. There is some oil/moisture on resonator and below part of the pipe that goes into the intercooler. Do I have to change the whole pipe or changing seals would do the job? Can someone send me the part number of the seals for resonator or intercooler pipe?
Any suggestions and ideas are welcome from group.
