Why so much oil in intake?
I have had a rather large amount of sludgy oil buildup around my intake for a long time.
Much more oil underneath, following the intake pipe all the way to the oil cooler... At least that's as far as I can see.
I decided to investigate and took the intake apart. I found a coating of soot paste covering everything above where the EGR enters.
I'm doing my best to clean everything out and am replacing all gaskets.
Is this normal?
Does everyone have this much oil going through their CDI's intakes?
Did I just have a bad gasket letting all this junk coat the outside of my engine?
Where is all of this oil coming from?
Anything else I should be looking at before I put all this back together?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Open oil fill cap and put napkin over it.
If the napkin stays on with engine at idle, it is good.
When napkin gets blown away, put a piece of cardboard and see if this will stay.
That will tell you if your crankcase has good or too much pressure, what indicate pistons condition.
Can't touch it on the picture, but when I said the oil look too clean, that would mean it is not coming from engine ventilation. More like leak on turbo.
