W211 Wiring To Boot Non Folding Seats
Hi All,
Stumbled across a bit of a issue whilst fitting a navigation unit earlier today. I took some preventative measures to run wiring from the navigation unit incase i decide to add a rear view camera or aftermarket amplifier at a later date. I needed to send a set of RCA Cables & Reverse Camera cable to the boot. The navigation unit i fitted all went well for reference.
Car is a W211 2004 E Class Saloon
How can i run this wiring into the boot? Wiring has been run under the door trims and i have the wiring near the rear seat but i cannot find a way to take any sections of the rear bench/side bench upholstery or the seat backs off.
For reference the car does not have the folding seats option so this may add to the complication.
Any advise would be appreciated, I have searched the forums and a majority of the advise and pictures refer to cars with the folding seat option, The rear bench on these has a latch to lift the rear bench out.
