First Post! 2007 E550 aftermarket sub?
Hey Everyone. So I recently acquired an E550 with around 105k miles and it drives great. The sound system is great and the quality is crisp and clear but I feel that the car is lacking in bass. The very low end is great powerful but anything a little below mid bass is pretty quiet. The bass volume seems to drop when moving and I have to turn the bass all the way up on my phone and on the head unit to get it to an ok level. My question is how would I go about replacing the sub? I know I could go the trunk box route but I tend to have a lot of stuff in the trunk and could use the space. If there was any way to get much stronger bass with a drop in into the original location, that would be best. I've been through the forums a little bit and haven't found anything yet on an aftermarket sub in the rear deck spot. My final question is how much would this all be around?Any help would be appreciated!
