I've come to the dark side...BMW >> Benz
Hey guys, I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a long time BMW guy that has now bought my first Mercedes. I had a baby boy last year, so the 2 door M3 wouldn't work anymore. It is an 03 E500 Sport. Has the Pano Roof, push start ignition, adjustable suspension and all that other fun stuff. I love this V8 and it is surprisingly decent on gas. The midnight blue with the light interior and marble looking trim is very pleasing to me. So far no issues except the rear air suspension is starting to go. Some days I come out and the rear is sitting low, while other days its fine. Ill start browsing the forums to see what I need to do. Below are a few quick photos.

Welcome. Sounds like you have an air leak. Get it fixed soon before you burn out the pump which will cost even more.

That is one sweet looking 03! Good luck with it. As for the rear shocks, do a search and you will see replacement options. I do not have airmatic, so I cannot tell you at the top of my head what replacements to go with.

coil conversion or get Arnott brand with lifetime warranty. I chose to keep the air suspension and my E500 has had to have pump and front shocks, however its been good now for the last 4 years.
