Blue tooth module DC UHI MOST location wagen
Hi guys,
im installing a bluetooth music device (mobridge) into my update w211 e500 2007 wagen. All is going slowly (instructions are horrendous) but the second last step is to find the blue tooth control module and 'loop it out' of the fibre optic system. I just need to find the location of the part 2118701885 which for the life of me i cant. its not with the gateway stuff in the left side rear of the wagen. Could anyone help me find where it is. Driving me mad!
thanks from the southern hemisphere

never mind, found it with a friends EPC. so in the wagen its located between the 2nd and 3rd row of seats under the carpeted 'floor'. after undoing the floor tie down latch (tore screw), lift this panel up at the front, slide it forward and there is the UHI module. ill explain the need to find this later but if anyone is looking, there was no other info on the web to date about where this was for 211 wagens!!

I've wanted bluetooth since I got my car and I thought it wasnt something I could ad on aftermarket. Also, would you mind giving some feedback on how the bluetooth works for you?
My head unit, currently using tape to aux cord

Hi Speedracer,
i think yours is a slightly older unit but the Mobridge site suggests the same M2 pro connect MOST that i just fit will also work on yours.
i just made this video last night which explains install and use. not perfect but you can stream reliably using your existing deck.
i could find literally no info on installation of this thing and if i had a video like this before i recon i could knock it down to a days work.

Bump - Bluetooth/AUX
I am unable to confirm if the mobridge is compatible with my head unit, and considering its at a $300-400 cost, I'd like to see if there are other options or get a solid confirmation that the bluetooth works for calls/music on my head unit (AUDIO 50). I have no AUX in the glovebox or an AUX option, I have AM/FM/WB/CD/TAPE options.
EDIT: A hard line aux cord would make it easy for me to get a cheap Bluetooth adapter
