Sorry for posting on this old thread. I’ve got a similar issue with my daily car (2015 Honda Accord) and couldn’t find much on the Honda forums and found this in MB. Appreciate any input.
I have 2015 Honda Accord Sport Sedan. My airbag light came on and my mechanic hooked up scanner via OBD connection. He attempted to adjust settings to turn off airbag light and was not successful, however afterwards the cluster information is all gone. The odometer shows dashes (- - - - - -) and the outside temperature is gone. I am not able to go through oil change life data. I went back to him and he can’t figure out which setting he deactivated. So I’m pretty much stuck with this now. (See photo)
My airbag light came on due to front impact sensor after fender bender and had my SRS module cleared by SafetyRestore However I am not able to find a fix for odometer. I am located in Queens, NYC and would appreciate any input. Thanks y’all!

As much as I love all Honda Motors products, the '15 Accord is a fair bit unrelated to W211.
They both use Bosch CANBus modules and gateways architecture licensed to respective OEM.
The big deal is the use of OBD DIAGNOSTIC PORT

Don't waste time telling a shop how to work - Find a place you trust can do what's needed.
Paying once for a fix will save you money from idiots abusive parts-canon.
Look into Honda forums: tons of these honest workhorses on the road.

I just went through this with the E320 Wagon I bought last week. As stated above you'll need Xentry/DAS which is Mercedes diagnostics software to reset it. It took 30 seconds once in the Instrument Cluster section. Post your location and maybe someone nearby can help. I'm in S. NJ
Any help available located in Seattle? Swapped in a new instrument cluster with no mileage showing up.
