jumpy jerky transmission
is there a software update or SB for a transmission that is jolty at low RPMs, not always selecting the lowest possible gear at low rpms in traffic so i get a jolty hesitation as if its in to high of a gear and then a surge as the torque builds... i also notice a jolty springy surge when cold ...

I have the same exact problem!!
I just got my car back from the dealer, SRS failed, they replaced the audio gateway, and I asked them to check out this same problem.
They tell me it is normal, to me sounds like a bunch of crap, especially when the car registered in the system the times this occurred to me (apparently it keeps track the times the transmission does this).
I did a search on the forums and found the following bulletins:
ENGINE
Bulletin P-B-07.00/28 - ECM
Bulletin S-B-54.21/101 - ECM
Bulletin P-B-07.00/28e - ECM
I gave these to the dealer, and the service guy tells me that bulletins are tied into VINs and that mine did not need it. This again sounds like a bunch of crap to me.
Let me know what else you find out. I'm scheduled to go back to the dealer in 3 months for Service D, and I want to make sure I have all the info I can to support my case. I had the best Service Rep 2 years ago, no questions asked he would look into things for me, now I gotta justify, and practically prove my case to get any work done, and MB wonders why its survey feedbacks are negative.
