Low air volume from vents

04 w211 e500 4matic. Replaced the blower motor and regulator, internal and external interior air filters. New motor can be heard running at different speeds based on dash setting but air volume from all vents is low. Air is cold but barely comes out. Can see the flap for the floor vents open but still very low pressure coming out. Any suggestions are appreciated

If the blower is spinning the right direction and up to speed, it has to be a stuck actuator or door somewhere in the dash. This will not be fun or easy to find, you will have to remove things for access and determine at what point the airflow is getting blocked.

As odd as it sounds, try running the defroster, letting it start to blow on the windshield, and then going back to normal. That has worked for me a couple of times on a somewhat similar set of symptoms.

As I recall my old E500, the adjuster for the vents needs to be pulled out to adjust the direction of the air flow. Maybe that "ring" is sticky. Pull it and rotate a few times and see whether it works. It's a poor design.
