2007 E320 CDI Pre purchase checks?
I'm hoping to be the proud owner of a 2007 E320 CDI Estate in a few days' time :zoom:
Because of distance, it's unlikely that I'll ever return to the dealer if there's a problem, so I just wanted to ask if there's anything specific I should be checking out? I have the VIN number and have carried out an HPI check - it's on 125,000 miles. As I've never driven this model before (I've had two previous W210 estates, including the E55!) I wondered what to expect? Any tips or advice appreciated! |
Take it to a dealer (not the selling one) or shop and pay them to do a PPI.

Did you make the purchase? Also, I thought the "E320" models went from CDI to BlueTec in 2007?

He had even arranged finance for me for that specific vehicle and had refused a deposit saying there was no need as I clearly was committed, but then did the dirty... Ended up buying a cheap Jaguar X Type estate as a stop gap, but will probably go for a later R Class at some point soonish. |
