150k 2006cdi Oil Analysis
Attached is a copy of my last oil analysis. It shows the six last oil analysis. Originally I was using Mobil 1 ESP (229.52?)until iron levels spiked. I then switched to Mobil 1 European Formula (229.51) and the iron levels returned to normal. This last oil analysis is showing a spike in the iron levels again. I am thinking it has something to do with the European Formula oil. At one time, I swore I saw the 229.51 spec on the container, now I am only seeing 229.3 and 229.5 spec on the container. I may be trying Rotella T6 if that meets the 229.51 spec.
My next oil analysis will still be based on the European Formula oil.

M1 always come with high iron on my tests as well and it is well known issue that M1 is ignoring.
Beside going Rotella I think you should find Castrol meeting the requirements.
BTW when you scroll down forum menu, you will find designated diesel section with lot of other reports to compare.
Take advantage of it.
