LED Mirror Turn Indicator fault
Hi,
I've searched the forum but have not found anyone with quite the same problem I have.
The issue is with the righthand mirror LEDs which do not respond to the indicator stalk and shows warning/fault message on dash with audibly faster ticking.
I have discovered that if I :-
1)Lock car with key - mirror retracts, but no LED flash
2) Re-lock car again - LEDs flashes as normal
3) Unlock car with key - LEDs flash as normal - mirrors open
4) From inside: Lock car - mirrors retract - select indicator stalk for right turn - switch on ignition - LED flashes once as mirror opens. Audible tick is normal until stalk is positioned for left turn and then back to right...when tick resumes faster.
All other indicators/hazards & LEDs are working fine.
I had suspected broken wires, but as LEDs flash when mirror is fully retracted, I'm thinking things might not be so simple.
Any ideas will be appreciated!
