Extended Wheel Lug Bolts or Conversion
I've searched the forum and couldn't find a great answer. I bought some S55 AMG wheels that require a 68mm length wheel bolt. The stock E500 bolts just barely go thought the wheels (I think they are 48???). For about the same price I can do a wheel lug bolt to nut conversion. I'm thinking this is a better option especially changing wheels back and forth.

I wouldn't do conversion. More things to go wrong and wheels rolling on freeway without car attached are not fun.
Otis makes custom bolts and you will have right fit. Measure the length, the diameter and the head radius and if they don't have it in their line-up, they might make it for you.
Don't you need spacers for wheels coming from S ?
