2006 E350 Torque Converter Drain

I hate to ask, but I have searched here and the rest of the net to the best of my ability and i can not find if my car has the drain or not. Is there a vin or trans # that will tell me to stop looking? What is the best way to flush if i do not have a drain? I have all the stuff and the car is on the lift, I spun the thing slowly about 5 times, I don't see a drain plug. Thanks all!!

If your E350 is 2WD (722.9 trans) - No drain plug on the torque converter. A drain and refill is nearly 6 liters. It's a reasonable amount for a service.

As he said, you can only do pan.

You may want to get two sets of screws; that way you can do the pan service again in another month, then you would gotten the majority of the old fluid out.

You guys are the voices of reason. Thank you. I bought some stuff to do a rigged up flusher, but I think you both have given good advise. I’m going to over achieve and change 2 more times. Thanks again!

Both my 722.9 transmissions do have converter plugs, so it is worth checking before jumping into conclusions.
If you don't have the plug, I have seen video where the guy dropped the pan, fit a hose into filter hole, put the hose into 1-gallon container with ATF and started the engine to flush the fluid. The return was splashing down open transmission, so a bit messy job, but does the flush without big waste of expensive ATF

There are variations of the 722.9 that have TC drain plugs. My 2010 C300 had it. I just did the service on my ‘06 211.056. There is not a drain plug.
The rigs and jigs aren’t worth it in my opinion.

Mine were 2008 and 2014, where both cars had 180,000 miles.
When I had record 2008 had transmission service at 40k, from comparison of steel dust on magnets - the 2014 car could have factory ATF at 180k.
Meaning whatever you do is probably more than those transmission really need as the seem to run fine on factory fluid for 200k.
