W211 E500 wagon manual transmission 6speed

started as a e500 4matic, transfer case blew up and decided it was time for a manual swap.

2005 E500 wagon
So that will be about a 31 horsepower increase and about a 52 pounds per foot torque increase I think?

Who needs a truck when you have a wagon?

I've fit all kinds of **** in the back of my W210 wagon.

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
The real question is how will you get it out of there? (the engine?)
Just watched the video...nice exhaust! Muscle car station wagon. Cool!

I am fan of manual transmissions, but the option in US is not available even on Superduty trucks.
I see hitch on the wagon as well. Years ago I bought small trailer for my business and keep it even now as the 200lb frame trailer is not noticeable behind my sedan (can't buy diesel wagon in this country neither). It not only allows for carrying lot of stuff, but makes it loading and unloading much easier,
Having pickup as well, very often I chose to drive MB with trailer for stuff up to 1000 lb.
The Harbor Freight trailers fold, so they need less than 2 feet of space in corner of the garage where you can push them on casters.

That's pretty sweet.
If only they came in manuals from the factory.

What exhaust is on it, if you don't mind me asking?

2005 E500 wagon
By the way did the 550 bolt right up and plug right in electrically and all hoses and stuff just hook up easily or was there some modification that had to be done?

The engine was for my w164. Not for the w211

Soon m113k swapping with BMW gearbox. Long tube headers. Also coilover and full e 63 kit. Full paint. With 2piece s65 wheels in 19...Gonna look sweeeet

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but what was involved on the ecu side to make this work? I've always wanted to manual swap my wagon
