E320 4MATIC Wagon
07 E350 4Matic Wagon. Trouble Code P0016

Hey guys. Got a check engine light on on the 2007 E-Class. The code is:

P0016 Crankshaft Position – Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 1 Sensor A)

Just cleaned years of old dirty oil that had dripped out of the two bank one cam sensors and adjustment solenoids and down onto the alternator so that I could keep track of fresh oil coming from the sensors and solenoids. I am reaching out to the benzworld experts today because I want to fix the oil leakage, but also the check engine light. Should I just replace the O rings? Is my problem with the cam sensor? Should I look at the adjustment solenoid at all?

I believe my engine serial number falls within the balance shaft issue range. Could this be a result of a cashaft sprocket problem? Any nudge in the right direction from someone who has been here before would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
