Problems with throttle
I have a problem with my 2005 E320 CDI car. The problem is that car throttle goes only up to about 2500 RPM. Check engine is on and computer gives out P0123 code. The repair shop suggested to change the throttle pedal assembly, because they thought that sensor on the pedal is faulty. I did that, but nothing changed. I tested the pedal on different car and it works like a charm, so fault is somewhere else.
When testing with the computer, it says that one of two potentiometers inside pedal is always on high. The other works fine, so up to 2500 RPM car works like it should.
Is there a throttle body under the hood somewhere? What is receiving the pedal signal? Whats your thoughts about this problem?
Thanks

What you have trouble with is PPS or Pedal Position Sensor .
Bare in mind that beside the sensor itself, you have also plugs and harness on the way. If replacing the sensor did not fix the issue, I would seek for dirty or damaged connection.
