722.9 conductor plate needed (Series 3)
Current unit that has failed
My second conductor plate on my 7 speed gearbox has just failed. (2006 W211 320 cdi)
The current one is a series 2. I have been advised to purchase a second hand series 3 conductor plate, I believe these were used post 2010.
Can anyone recomed a reputable supplier who may have such a second hand part at a fair price.
thanks

There are a number of suppliers and refurbishment places on eBay. You can trust or not trust their ratings as to whether or not they are reputable. 722.9 conductor plates are SCN coded to the vehicle. You will need to ensure that what you buy is virgin and that you have the ability to SCN code it. <-- that is why it's tough to get an answer to what you're asking.

Thanks fortunately I have a mechanic who knows how to program the units even if they used so it’s not an issue.
I want to try avoid e bay and purchase from someone who is reputable on this site.
I’m in South Africa and all 6 and 8 cylinder cars unfortunately have the 7 speed transmission. I believe the 5 speed transmission had a lot less issues. Also it’s conductor plate is a fraction of the cost and seldom gives issues.
